Successfully got out of the office holiday party this year. Originally, we were going to have our weekly meeting on the day of the party and then all go to the party together. Then Noah was like, “Actually, I’m going to be out of the office that day, no meeting. You all can have fun at the party though!”
So then we all privately texted and decided to work from home. And that’s why I’m well-rested and enjoying a nice cup of soup for lunch in the comfort of my own living room. tbh the utility of an office party went way down once working from home became a regular thing.
Also, I’m in a work lull at the moment. The only thing I have on my plate is post-prod edits on [big chungus], but I sent some questions to Noah and he hasn’t yet responded, so I don’t have anything to do.

Whoops, I jinxed it. We got new projects today (alphabet soup)…flops
We had a zoom meeting today and the first thing Noah said was, “Did you go to the party?” and we were all like UMMM. He was like “I knew it!! I shouldn’t have said I would be gone” lolol
