Hellooo!
Spent almost the entire day in college with my girlfriend. Went at around 0930ish came back by 1640ish. She had two job interviews today and I being her lucky charm tagged along with her. The entire college is on study leave so it was just us in lab and conference room, doing nothing but passing lovely time and ofc the interviews. Quite quality time if you'd say.
Then we went to temple and a sweet shop as we usually do after interview!
Bear in mind that we have exams upcoming but still decided to basically procrastinate the whole time lol. Well it's not that funny now that i think about it but yea it was time well spent.
Then came back to my room, was planning on going home today but decided to just stay because well I can still procrastinate more! Yeah i do that a lot but not the main point, because later before going to sleep I got a call from an old friend asking me if I am available for an event in Jan. It was total surprise but he needed someone to handle two screens for the event and as I have done it in past he called me up. Sadly I had to reject because I will be leaving for my internship in Jan and won't be in town for the event. But that simple call just sent me into a long thought.
See I am not in the events, plays, artistic domain right now, but most of my friends are, they had a career change during their bachelor's degree but I did it only for a year and then came back into the "education" system. And I did land an internship during my master's which I am pursuing currently. But for a split second I thought about it, that maybe I can still get into that industry and be with my friends who are now actors, production managers, sound guys and all. But was not going to throw my whole career that intrusively lol. Still decided to call my love to tell her about it, which then went into a whole bigger conversation about trend following and art industries, people not knowing their actual dreams, people only dreaming about jobs, careers which the society needs or promotes right now. Pretty much loved the entire conversation, and both of us agreed that we are not like everyone else, we do not follow the trends blindly and everything, we actually make educated decisions and explore which is not something most of the youth in India does right now. It was refreshing to have such a conversation with her, get to know her views and listen to her opinions matching with mine. Very "pointless" (as a "random") conversation in her words which we rarely do but love it so much.
I guess that's about it, that was all this day became and loved the end of the day!
See ya!
