Mental Health Journey Day 7

I am finally able to write an entry! I was pretty busy, but now I can sit down and write my daily entry.

Main Goal(s):

  • study some maths (almost done)
  • Go to the gym (Chest day)
  • Study some electrical engineering


I am still working on finishing it, but I am convinced that I will finish it.

My health was pretty terrible the last few days. I've struggled a lot with anxiety. However, I was able to study a lot. Yesterday, I realised how long the third chapter of my electrical engineering book is (100 pages long, help!). I only have 50 pages left. I can do it!


Despite the small achievements, my health never takes breaks. The last few days I've been journaling a lot. When my anxiety worsens, I read a book or paint a little bit. It's nice to see that I can enjoy my hobbies again. It's so fun!


I am currently reading Loveless and Fahrenheit 451. I am going to finish Loveless till the end of the week, because I need to return it. Fahrenheit 451 on the other hand, is a book I need to spend more time with. I struggle a little bit with the writing style. After reading 80 pages, I can get a better grip with the story. I wonder how the story ends. I heard the book is very good. On the other hand, I read so many mixed reviews.


I have some great news regarding my health: I was able to improve my diet. I replaced some foods I usually eat with some vegetables and tempeh. I don't like the texture of tofu, so I've been experimenting with tofu made of chickpeas. It's tasty. After a small change, I can get enough nutrients I need. I can achieve 60-80% of my daily goal.

Some things I enjoyed:

  • studying maths (it's pretty fun when I do it alone and take breaks when I need them)
  • painting (on my tablet or paper)

Conclusion:

I don't really have a conclusion for today. I was pretty focused on my studies or on my hobbies.
