I remember when I was like 10 me and family went to Nigeria for summer vacation. we stayed with one of my uncles and aunts there for the time being. most of the time we would go outside and buy things and other stuff

One day, we went to a place where a small family (?) lived. I think it was like their home/kitchen. anyway I think they knew my aunt

we sat and chatted there for a while and then they offered me this meal

so I took a bite out of it and MAN was it good

I ate the rest all in one bite and I even asked for more

then we used to go there occasionally to get leaf rice until our house in nigeria was built

so summer 2022 we had our own home and turns out there's a place that sells leaf rice and other things nearby

so we go there

and there was a variety of food

so I ate leaf rice again there :D

I wish ofada rice was in America :[

can't wait to try it again
